VANJ-NET 2022 is a Series of Webinars organized by the Vietnamese Academic Network in Japan (VANJ). We aim to connect and support the Vietnamese Academics who were, are, and will be in Japan, to share their experiences and help the next Vietnamese generations to understand as well as prepare for graduate studies and academic environments in Japan.

Guest speakers are academics who received his/her Master’s and/or Doctor’s degree in Japan and are currently actively involved in research and business sectors.

Three invited guests discussed their own career paths after graduation in Japan.  Mr. Phuoc Duy chose the academic pathway, with his current position as Assistant Professor. Mr. Mau Kien is dedicated to setting up his own business, while Ms. Thu Trang decided to work for an international company. Despite coming to Japan on different pathways, studying in various majors, and choosing diverse routes after graduation, all guests agreed that time in Japan as a graduate student is completely worthwhile. It shapes their personalities, broadens their horizons, and builds strong relationships that continue to advantage their career development.
